FIRST STEPS

Welcome to APCT master and columnist Bill Jones' on-line column, FIRST STEPS. Bill's columns have been appearing in the APCT NEWS BULLETIN since the May/June 1993 issue. His latest column published in the July-August 1998 issue of the APCT NEWS BULLETIN debuts at my site. His columns are designed to be instructional forums, so for those of you who are newcomers to chess and want to pick up some useful information and advice this is the column to read. Of course experienced chessplayers are also invited to check out Bill's interesting columns. I plan to try to Archive all of Bill's previous columns at my site, but this is not a done deal yet.
